The Guestbook
This is the guestbook page for East Preston Cricket Club. Use it to leave us a message or contact other cricket club members - most importantly though, enjoy it!
Rigor - I am happy to get in touch with Steve although Colin will be in weekly contact once the season starts.
We are not holding a cricket week. Current plans are for a game against a old EP XI, return of the Blauuw Cup and an end of season dinner. There might be a few other events through the season but we have to be careful of costs.
Anninersary Committee - I have been in email contact with Steve @ Worthing Herald. He would be very interested in producing an article about the club's celebrations for publication later this year. He wants to know our cricket week details and particulary, he wants some old photos of the club/members. Pity that Ian's album has gone missing.
I suggest that one of the committee contact him promptly as this would be welcome publicity for us. I have his email address for the person who will contact him.
Cricketforce weekend will be over Easter - Good Friday 2 April to Easter Monday 5 April. Over the four days, we will need as many volunteers as possible to tidy up the club and to get the pavilion and ground ready for the new season.
If you are able to help, please give me or Colin a call.
The averages for the 2009 season have been posted to the site...
G - I have found a very likely source of borage - Culberry Nursery, Dappers Lane, Angmering. 784107 or www.culberry,com.
ANDY, IM PRETTY SURE YOU CAN FIGURE OUT WHERE THE BALL WAS EACH TIME I DROPPED IT, OR ELSE IT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A DROP.
BEERS ON RIGOR!
Andy - please take a tenner from my winnings as this season's subs. Notify mem.sec please.
G - borrage seeds are available at Sutton and Thompson & Morgan, amongst others. Quite cheap with approx. 70 seeds in a packet.
Buy seeds - they will be producing flowers pretty quickly. Borage is a hardy annual so you can probably sow them at the end of March or early April
